Western Europe’s largest naval base

Comprising of both a naval base and a dockyard, Devonport is home for numerous surface vessels and is the only licenced site in the UK for refitting and fuelling nuclear-powered submarines.

Babcock, as support partner to the MOD and co-owner of the site, provides through-life support for submarines, surface ships and associated systems and equipment. Ensuring that both the Royal Navy and Babcock have the right facilities and infrastructure to deliver their role is essential, and as such we need engineering professionals to sustain and develop Devonport into the future.
